I just renewed this bracelet to advertise the huge discount on it…I just had a good laugh when I re-read the listing. I must have been really pooped when I typed it up. It sounded like the beads were used! I said something like- bracelet is made from yellow glass beads, used teal crystals! Not, I used teal crystals!
Well, I am going to make some earrings for a friend now!
I just posted this necklace in my shop today. I love the daintiness (is that a word?) of the crystal and the little peace sign. We all need peace! I bought it a while ago and found it in my supplies yesterday. If you read my post yesterday, you know that I needed some peace.
Wasn’t today weird? For a 40-something woman, two childhood, or teenhood icons dying in one day was kinda surreal. I didn’t really idolize Michael Jackson or Farah, they were just part of growning up. I posted on Twitter that someone said, “these people were on our lunchboxes”-that really struck me. I mentioned that to my husband;he said, I didn’t have a lunch box, I carried a brown paper bag! I needed the laugh-he’s the funniest person I know.
BTW, I had Scooby Doo and the Flintstones; then I, too, graduated to brown paper bag!
Here is one of the anklets I made last night. It was fun; I’ve never made one before. It was like making a big bracelet really. I love the shimmer of the Swarovski pearls along with the crystals.
I have been trying to improve my photography. It is a real trick to take a pic of something so dang tiny when you have a tremor! I use a tripod, but just pushing the button is the kiss-of death. Well, I have to keep trying until I find the magical formula!
The photos I took today were on a lovely, shabby-chic table I have. I thought the distressed wood looked kinda cool. We shall see!
Hello all! I am sad that it took me so long to get a post written; what a hectic week so far! I am hoping to get back into a routine soon. Here is a pic of some earrings that I haven’t gotten on the etsy shop yet. I still find the photos to be the hardest part; I just have so much fun creating!
I did do a lot of soldering this weekend and hope to get some of the items posted. I have also started playing with glass pendants using Diamond Glaze; much like the method I used for the scrabble pendant I posted earlier. It always amazes me how many things you can find to play with!

Hello everyone! As you can see, I posted items to my shop like crazy yesterday; hence no blog entry yesterday. Today I finished up a cute necklace made from jade dyed a pretty pink. It has fuschia Swarovski crystals, tiny seed beeds and the really nice fuschia jade. I took pictures really fast, but they didn’t turn out well. I will try again to do it right later so I can show you! In the meantime, I wanted to show you this bracelet I made last weekend-its super blingy!
